Fall Weather

I am writing this blog today to show you how we (the dogs) enjoy the beautiful fall weather and how we help our humans enjoy it too. It started off as any other Saturday. We woke Mommy up early because she doesn't go to that awful place she calls work. However she did say she was going outside to work. WHAT? no work on Saturdays. Well it turns out she meant raking leaves, which is not work because she was home. Kiefer decided to help.. haha

Cisco and I decided to get the day rolling with some zoomies.

All this play made us very thristy. Mom gave us a bowl of water but we discovered something better. Now I have to tell you we were all very upset at first. This wonderful drinking spot had been fenced up all summer long. What was she thinking keeping us out of here?

Not only is this water cold but it has things in it!

I'm glad she came to her senses and let us in on this secret.

Kiefer's Home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luckily this Blog has a happy ending.

On Saturday Oct 9th Kiefer woke up very sick to his stomach. He threw up all day and was still sick on Sunday. Mom took him to the emergency vet hospital. They took an x-ray and saw that he had something in his belly. He spent all night at the emergency vet and went to our regular vet on Monday. He stayed there all day and night. On Tuesday he wasn't feeling any better and they had to operate on him. They found a small piece of a foam frisbee in his belly. Kiefer was very sick and even I was worried about him. On Thursday he finally got to come home. He is very skinny and has a big cut on his belly see....

I was so sad when he was gone I laid in his crate and waited for him to come home

Now he has to wear this silly cone so he leaves his boo boo alone

He was very embarrassed and tried to hide

He still isn't his old self but at least he is home!!!!

SO PLEASE be very careful if you have a dog who likes to shred toys, the little pieces can make you very sick, cost a lot of money and then you have to get cut opened and fixed.

Water fun

The hose was my fun way of cooling off. But now Kiefer has decided that it is just as much fun as his pool. He doesn't share very well, he is kinda a hose hog. He also gets a little crazy.

After the hose Kiefer went back into his pool. However he started chasing the shadows in the pool. He sometimes does this. Mommy says it's not good. I hope he stops soon or he will be hogging the hose all the time. Mommy tried to put toys in the pool but he didn't care about those. After that Mommy moved the pool into the shade so he couldn't see his shadow.

This is the way Shawnee likes to cool off, she hates water.

Emily and Friends came to visit!

Emily and our Friends came for a visit and to finish up a few things on the fence. Well Daddy worked late and was really tired so we mostly just played.

Here is Meara exploring our yard. She was very brave and once we saw her pick up a ball and throw it. She doesn't like the camera so you have to be sneaky about it.

I guess for a puppy Moss is O.K. he likes the hose as much as me.

Here are the two brothers being silly. Boy are they dangerous when they play this game. They will take you out if you get in their way.

After a very long day, a lot of Frisbee, playing in the hose, running from puppies and making mad face at Speck all day I was really tired.

Our Fence

So we finally got our new fence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Kiefer thinks it is sooooo cool to be able to run around the yard without a long leash. Of course without the long leash he is free to do this.

But after he did that, Mommy made him take a bath. (ha ha)

 Caitlin and Emily came over to help Mommy and Daddy with the fence. It was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures of the fence. There are still a few more things to do, but we still can play outside and be safe.

Normally Cisco is running around the yard barking his head off at everything and anything and sometimes nothing. Here he is tired and happy but most of all quiet.

I Graduated

I graduated from Puppy Kindergarten

Whats New!!

A lot has been going on since the last Blog.

Here's Kiefer and I playing with Tabasco. Some people don't think cats and dogs can get along but we can.

Kiefer even got Peyton and Cisco to play with him.

We went to Sugar Bush Farm for the NEBCR Reunion. We took the camper and the humans and camped out for the weekend. We had a great time.

Kiefer got to play with his brothers and sisters.

He went in the doggie pool.

We meet Ramsey, he lives at SBF. He had a little too much fun. 

We were also very tired by Saturday night.

 The other day Kiefer was helping Mommy weed in the backyard.

At a Memorial Day picnic Kiefer was showing Kyley that she doesn't have to be afraid of puppies. I think he did a great job, Don't you?

Mom finally got a new camera. I think Daddy was sick and tired of hearing her complain.
